Movie and music producer, Mr. Ahmed Banda popularly known as Bandex has hinted of releasing the first highlife album of Pastor Ofori Amponsah after he made a U-turn to sing highlife. 

The album according to Bandex was recorded before Ofori Amponsah became a pastor few years ago.

Despite the period the album was recorded, Bandex believes Ofori Amponsah recorded good songs which cannot be “camped” in a room hence his plan to release the album for Ghanaians to enjoy the good old days of Ofori Amponsah.

Ace hiplife artiste, Tic Tac, known in private life as Nana Kwaku Duah, has revealed that he is hoping to do a massive collaboration with one of American fastest rappers, Trevor Tahiem Smith Jr., better known on stage as Busta Rhymes, in the near future.

According to the Greater Accra regional chairman of the Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), there are currently talks to get the deal executed.

The ‘Kangaroo’ hit singer did not state when the collaboration will take place but said he is hoping that the impending discussions between the two parties will yield a positive result.

In the mist of his controversial fallout with his manager Bulldog, Ghanaian dancehall Musician Shatta Wale has lost his first Music of Black Origin (MOBO) nomination to UK based Ghanaian Afrobeats Singer Fuse ODG. 

Fuse ODG (born Nana Richard Abiona) who won the same ‘Best African Act’ award for the third consecutive time, beating Davido, Wizkid, Patoranking, Moelogo, Yemi Alade, Aka, Mista Silva, Shatta Wale and Silvastone who were nominated in category. 

The just ended 20th edition of the Music of Black Origin Awards (MOBOs) which took place at the First Direct Arena in London yesterday Wednesday November 4, 2015, also saw Drake win the Best International Album with ‘If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late’.
